A Seafarer's Legacy

For my Intro to Textiles final, I was instructed to create fifteen original textile swatches and incorporate them into a lineup. The swatches and lineup were then displayed on a board. I chose to base my theme off of the song "The Downeaster Alexa" by Billy Joel, and the idea that though the small fisherman of the past may not exist their legacy can be carried on in the way they dressed in functional and interesting silhouettes.
